Grease traps are necessary in all commercial kitchens and food establishments where there is a possibility of generating F.O.G (fat oil and grease). This is necessary in order to block any and all fats oils and grease from entering into the drainage system of the establishment thus causing a blockage in the pipes. Local authorities in the country insist that a grease interceptor is installed in all of these types of establishments. Our grease trap operates by the passing flow of water into the trap that contains a number of baffles which will slow down the flow of water as it enters. When any contained grease cools and begins to become solid it then floats to the top of the receptacle. From here the grease is caught and removed and allow the remaining water to enter the drainage system without containing any fats oils or grease.
